And who is this writing, anyway?

Since 2007, I've been a part of the Flinn Foundation's communications team, writing about all of the Foundation's initiatives, including the Flinn Scholars.

I'm also a Flinn Scholar alum myself, from the class of 1993. After my undergraduate years in Arizona, I completed an MFA in creative writing at George Mason University in Virginia. Now and then, I do type things not entirely true.

Chances are, you might belong on bulbstorm, the latest brainstorm of Bart Steiner ('87), who has had quite a few good ideas of his own over the past couple of decades.

"Bulbstorm is the community of innovation where individuals, experts and companies come together to share, improve, and market new product, service, and business concepts," Bart says. "We’re all about interesting inventions, spectacular scripts, budding businesses, interesting art, and even mundane musings."

Bulbstorm is now in public-beta--open to all comers.
