Schilling among new TGen board members

Three prominent names have been added to the Board of Directors of the Translational Genomics Research Institute. The 25-member board now includes Arizona Diamondbacks star pitcher Curt Schilling, Governor Janet Napolitano, and philanthropist Mel Zuckerman.
Schilling has been active in fundraising for Lou Gehrig's disease and melonoma, for which his wife is being treated. Napolitano became a board member upon taking office in January. Zuckerman, chairman of Canyon Ranch health spas, has been a significant donor to the University of Arizona's College of Public Health.
