Arizona State University will host a technology expo on Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to promote collaboration between ASU and the private sector. The event, titled, "ASU Inventions That Can Benefit Your Business," will be held at the Memorial Union and is free to all participants.

The expo is sponsored by ASU Technopolis and Arizona Technology Enterprises and will highlight ASU inventions and programs, including Technopolis' Launch Pad. Launch Pad's mission is "to educate, coach, and connect innovators and entrepreneurs."

Keynote speaker Phillip J. Facchina, a senior managing director for Friedman Billings Ramsey, will discuss the current landscape of capital markets and technology investing.

Arizona Technology Enterprises is the technology commercialization arm for Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University. Technopolis provides entrepreneurial training to those who want to establish their own start-up companies.
